If you had to be stranded on a tropical island, which one would you choose? Well, St. Thomas would definitely be at the top of our list! With it's breathtaking views, world famous beaches and flavorful painkillers, it is the PERFECT place to celebrate any occasion!

To say that it was a privilege to share in Charles and Brittney's wedding is an understatement! Brittney was referred to Studio N by one of our lovely destination brides of the past, Mrs. Tina Schlichte! ( And we are so appreciative for the referral, I might add!) Brittney is an event planner and has a real appreciation for beautiful photography. When I asked her what her vision was for her special day, she told me that it was going to be a very relaxed, non-traditional occasion.. but it was going to be quite a celebration since they had been together for TEN YEARS. Brittney and "Chuck" ,as he is affectionately known, were tying the knot in St. Thomas and they wanted to take us with them to photograph the wedding week of festivities! (Darn! We hate it when that happens! hehe! Just kidding.. ;) )

It turns out that we had the time of our lives! We photographed the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day itself along with a few special moments in between. We were blessed with an exquisite sunset for their bridal session on Wednesday. I did Brittney's make-up on all three days.  Brittney and Chuck chose to have their entire wedding and festivities take place at the AMAZING Beach House VI located in Magens Bay! Thanks to the expertise of Jessica Hume and team of STRG, the wedding day was a real success. Brittney looked absolutely beautiful as she walked down the stairs to meet her handsome groom on the veranda surrounded by family and friends that had traveled from Louisiana, Colorado, Seattle and Mississippi. Complete with mini chicken and waffles, crab cakes, mini pancakes, a build-your-own Benedict bar and champagne to wash it all down, it was finger-lickin' GOOD! Best brunch EVER. Not to mention those delicious tropical cupcakes! Brittney and Chuck finished off the afternoon with a sweet, first dance as husband and wife to Led Zepplin's "Thank You" in their flip flops... and then dove into the pool! Super fun times were had by all. Here are a few highlights from the wedding day! 

Meet Thomas and Aubrey... One of our most adventurous couples! ;) When I asked them what their ideal engagement session would be like, they told me that they would love to take us to Mt. Charleston and take photos of them hiking up the mountain! Brandon and I had never hiked to the top of Cathedral Rock before. What an adventure we had! We are so happy that they spurred us on to keep going that day! Despite our sore feet and heavy gear, ( LOL ) making it to the top was quite the reward! And not to mention the fact that we had this beautiful couple to capture! 

Today is May 20th, 2017. Thomas and Aubrey are getting married at the beautiful Paiute Golf Resort! Today is as beautiful as the day we captured their engagements: It's a perfect Las Vegas sky, birds are chirping and the sun is shining! We have really enjoyed sharing in this most beautiful time and look forward to many more adventures with Thomas and Aubrey! Congratulations to the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. McGrew! xoxo

It was a true pleasure to capture the love of local couple Will & Alyse at the Paiute Golf Resort here in Las Vegas! The day itself brought us beautiful scenic skies and an amazing sunset. As the couple prepared to walk down the aisle, you could feel the excitement and anticipation in the air. They both excitedly exchanged gifts and gave way to deep emotions as they read the cards that they sent to each other. They had the support of their loving family, which added to the warmth of their day. 

The sunset romantics were among our favorites! The sky vibrantly lit up like a beautiful painting right before our eyes. We are honored to have been chosen to capture this special day of Will and Alyse! We wish them many beautiful years to come!

The look of the wedding was very classic and elegant. It was a black and gold affair with many beautiful floral details by Personalised Designs. The amazing uplighting from LED Unplugged lighting lit up the reception beautifully and DJ Steve Marino kept the party fun and lively. Dan and Mandy are a truly beautiful couple. You can just feel the love between them and the connection that they share. We met them over a year and a half ago. They were recommended to us by our former couple, Sarah and Brad. ( Thank you Sarah and Brad! ;) ) We had the privilege of capturing some very romantic engagements of them and their charming, winter picnic at the Dry Lake Beds late last year. Today is World Photo Day, marking the invention of photography. Here's to the images that give us new perspective on the world, bringing us closer together.  

I could not think of a better day to share one of our newest destination weddings- David and Magali's special day in Temecula, CA!

As mentioned in our previous blog, Magali has been a VERY special part of Studio N. She's been a loyal fan for many years and has referred countless couples to Studio N. We were BEYOND thrilled when she requested Studio N for her three day wedding celebration, beginning in Las Vegas, NV. and ending in the fabulous Wine Country of Temecula, CA at Europa Village. What a beautiful weekend we experienced with David and Magali and their family! Another thing that made that weekend so special is that we were reunited with two of our other couples. We shot the wedding of Alissa and Levi in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico as well as Chris and Shenea's wedding in Reno, Nevada- All thanks to Magali! :D 

David and Magali had the most beautiful wedding day on June 4th, 2016. It was the perfect, California summer day......The kind that makes me remember my days growing up in that one-of-a-kind state. How I miss it! ;)

As photographers, we had a field day shooting their wedding. There were so many photo ops to say the least! David and Magali make a beautiful couple and there was never an end to wanting to capture the love that they share.
